In recent news, it has been revealed
by Google researchers that there are some serious security flaws in microchips
which may make users vulnerable to hackers to seal personal information from
computer systems. Most of the popular chips are made by Intel, AMD & ARM
currently.
In most of the cases, when data
or security breach happened in IT sector, the information was kept secret among
the parties until a fix can be dispatched to resolute the problem. This is done
to protect the interest of the user as well as business but in this case it
seems that information has been leaked too early by somehow.
The security flaw in microchips
are really notable matter as most of the microchips are used in electrical
system especially mobile phones, portable devices and other personal devices
like laptops/PC. If these flaws are exploits by the hacker then both user and
business may face some serious consequences.
But the good news that all the
tech giant like Microsoft, Google, Apple etc. has already addressed the matter
and taking steps on serious note. They are advising the users to install the
latest security patches in their devices. Intel may revealed the security
information/patches soon. Same time AMD & ARM replied that patches has been
already shared with their customer and there are no risk in their products.
